This is a dispute between the Crown lessee & the firm Kong

the Governor to withdraw a notice of resumption by

It seems likely that Duddell will take legal proceedings to enforce his claim, I think before complying with the request of Sir MacDonnell to send the papers to some solicitor with the view of claiming the opinion of some eminent Queen's Counsel (e.g. Sir R. Palmer.) But looking through the papers I find that the copy of the lease to Mr Duddell, though the important part of it is recited in the subsequent award, Sir R MacDonnell promises to send a copy by the next Mail. Till then the matter
must stand over."

the case may be sent, if necessary,
